blown ecu ???

what are the syntoms of a bad ecu ?

im getting code 12 maf
then when i give the car gas it give me code 25 barrometric pressure and tps

even whit the maf plug disconected same story again !!!!!!!!!!!! same code

used 2 1g mafs

repaired wiring harnes to ecu terminal 2 maf signal whas broken

the car runs worst !!!!!

stock boost gauge dosent work
car cant rev past 4000
it days at idlle sometimes
running super rich

sounds like a ground to the ecu or its a bad ecu itself. take the ecu out and open the case. look to see if theres any crusty residu on the board. any black marks or anything that dont look right. someone here on tuners had an ecu fry because of a stray hair got in the ecu. sounded funny to me but i guess it really happend.

I'd be looking at the sensor ground on the ECU. Bottom side of the board.

open the casing
yes there are signs of burns and melted parts

the ting is its not on the lower side only were the
IC108 looks ready to melt and has cracks there is signs of melting on the ecu c14 looks toost

what my couse that

i will recheck wiring again
and reverify all the grounds
on the ecu side and on the sensors side

crusty residu on the board. any black marks
yes sir i have that on my ecu

the ting is whay might of cause it in the first place

the old owner instald the safc like an idiot

i tink my 3 month old neeas can do a better job then these dude

ic 108 has some black burn like look on the bord and the resistor itself is burnd

any info and information is welcomed

IC108 is for the Evaporative Purge Solenoid and for the EGR Solenoid.
You sure it's not IC107 that's blown? That's one of the two ISC drivers.

Pictures of your ECU would be best. My French is too rusty to use.

the one leaking is.................107 it looks like it has a burn almost a small melt and it looks like it leakt on the bord

question what is terminal c14????

my check engine gives me code 12 and when reving code 25 and code for tps

is the ICS RESPONSABLE FOR MY BLOWN ECU AND FOR THESE CODES ???!!!

These ecus are known for having leaking capacitors which when they leak (they all will unless they have been changed) will damage the board. Maybe that is what caused your problems.

There are several places you can send your ecu to be fixed, including Steve who has been helping you so far. I recommend him, he does good work.

I had the exact same symptoms as you and error codes in my car when my ecu went bad.

im realy tinking of changing the IDLLE SPEED CONTROL AND CHECK REPAIR ALL GROUND ON THE HARNESS

whay did it happend new
thats my question becose the car whas working fine before i change the clutch !!!??
