We have a 96 and put a new turbo on that we had bought and was supposed to be a direct bolt on replacement. No sooner than we got it all back togther and it blew out the head gasket and burned a small hole in the head and destroyed the plug. We had the head repaired, pressure tested and milled to make sure it was flat. After puuting it back together, it started and idled fine, but as soon as my mechaninc test drove it and got on it a little bit, it again blew the head gasket and blew out 2 plugs. This is getting expensive and we need some experienced advice. Is it too much boost? will a manual boost controller work? Thanks! Eric
