Hey guys!!! I have a 91 tsi awd with built motor that i just finished breaking in..It has 180 compression all the way across the board..i run 2 -10 fittings in my valve cover that run to a jmf catch can..no pcv...im getting oil in my catch can..not real real bad but enough to notice...what could be causing this and is there a way to fix it? motor runs real strong..and i broke it in the right way and i have never beat on it real bad..did a good tune on 15lbs.and drove it varied the rpms and did a couple 3rd gear pulls to get tune down? thanks for any input.

When my turbo was going it was having similiar symptoms, but i also had it in my intercooler pipes

Do you still have the baffles in the valve cover?

the turbo is fine...brand new with as many miles as the motor...no shaft play and no oil in intercooler or pipes......And yes i removed the baffles...my buddy ran without baffles on his setup and said he never really had any oil in it...i actually got the catch can and valve cover from him..it was on his car..he said it didnt consume any oil

No baffles would be my guess, at least as a contributing factor. Every car is different, so even if he had no oil collecting, that's not to say the next person won't.

agreed with snowboarder. If at all possible test a VC with baffles and see if the problem is replicated.
