Blow By

Ok, so I was getting blow by through my dip stick, so I tie down my dip stick. Well it sorta worked, cause it doesn't come through there anymore, it is being squeezed out of my oil cap. I was told blow-by is caused by increased pressure in the crank case. Is this true, and how can I stop this? I'm tired of wiping oil off of my valve cover and everywhere else. Help me out....

you could try to replace the PCV valve, also look into doing a compression test to see if how much the compression of cylinder is, then do a we cylinder test to see the condition of the rings.

Also to check if the rings are fried, do a compression check and if any of the cylinders seem low put in about a oil cap full of oil into the cylinder. Do another check on that cylinder if the #'s go up you have bad rings on that cylinders.
