Blinking Lights On Dash Help

This morning on the way to work my battery light, brake light, and the orange house looking light started blanking. When I come to a complete stop, they stay solid. Has anyone experienced this and can lead me in the right direction?
I didnt see or feel a change in the way the car was running.

Could be, but it seems to be charging. My turbo timer reads 12-14 volts.

Possibly your voltage regulator went on the alternator causing it to "overcharge" i wouldn't trust that turbo timer for #### all, go ahead and test the alternator out, then post back, does the car start perfect on a cold start ?

Yes, starts perfect and seems to be charging. Its been a couple of days and it turns over strong. Ill still have it tested on monday and report back.

im having the same issue with my car it just started on sunday after a long trip home. new alternator and new battery and my volt gauge never falls below 12-13 volts. any other reason this could happen. also its only the brake light and battery light on mine.

The alternator is starting to fail, it may still be charging, but it is on it's way out.

What brand of alternator did you get?

well the shop that built my engine got it for me from napa. probably a rebuilt napa brand and battery is also napa. it literally has less than 500 miles on it.

Alternator problems, the regulator is probably going out.

I had an overcharging problem once, I noticed it in ECM link my voltage would range from 12.8V up to 17.1V, and just keep doing that cycle.

OK well my turbo timer that shows voltage, just said 13-14V and never changed to much, not like ECM link was. So I took my overcharging rebuild alternator back to the starter/alternator shop I had rebuild it and they confermed the overcharging problem.

The moral of the story is not to 100% trust the voltage display on the turbo timer. If I didn't have ECM link I would have never known I had an overcharging problem. Well untill I fried something... Anyways mine was a voltage regulator, cost 60 bucks for them to change out, voltage stays perfect now.

Had mine rebuilt and it didnt last a week, got my money back and brought a new one. Problem is solved.
