bigger brake upgrade

i just read the 05/06 outlander bigger brake upgrade tut and was wondering if this was a front and rear upgrade? also in the tut the rotors were slotted and croass drill and just for poops and laughter i looked at rockauto.com and it seems not all were slotted and cross drill any inquiry? They sold slotted and cross drill but pricey for a stock rotor ($75 i think).

It's only a front upgrade. slotted and drilled rotors are not necessary. Most of them are just for looks and not for performance and tend to crack (at least on european ebay they do). However there are good performance rotors that are slotted and drilled. I guess someone else here will tell you some quality brands (brembo?)

You don't need slotted or drilled rotors. Just slotted are fine if you'll be doing a lot of road racing or auto crossing.
If driving normal then all you need is regular rotors.

yeah i would say even if its not slotted or cross drill it still a better system as i think it was a duel pistion caliper and more rotor surface.
