Ok, I really need some help..Im not exactly new to the dsm world, but I do not know alot about them. I have a 95 Talon TSI FWD...Heres what is going on..I bought the car approx. 1 week ago, and saw it would smoke just a little bit after moderate-hard accleration...Im thinking no big deal...I get a 3 inch cat-back exhaust put on with the cats taking completely off..I come back from the muffler shop and rev it up for my buddies, and they say slim-no smoke..I then change the spark plugs to NGK V-Power and gap them at .030....And I went into town last night, and now at idle it's puffing a steady grayish/whiteish smoke..And when I rev it up or give it any amount of acceleration, nothing but big clouds of garyish/whiteish smoke where I can barely see behind me...Had a mechanic friend look at it, and he put his hand to the exhaust pipe and said he smelled raw fuel...Ive asked around and some say it's running to rich, some say its the chemicals on the new exhaust burning off, some say rings are fried, and some say head gasket is blowed.....But when I accelerate, it has full power...No power loss, hesitation, or anything...So any help would be great right now..
Thanks,
Brent
