BLT now clouds of smoke

Is it common to do a BLT and have your turbo go out? I hooked up my blter to my turbo and did a 15 psi test. I had to keep putting in air for a while cause it was leaking bad. I checked the turbos shaft play before i did the blt and just a hair up and down and side to side but in and out was solid. I just checked the turbo and im getting half an inch of play in and out now... man im stumped

A half an inch is physically impossible.

Not to mention, you state nothing about these clouds of smoke.

yea i guess i was exaggerating, but it's a hell of a lot more than it was before the blt. About the smoke, i started the car idled fine and backed it down the driveway after the blt and got 100 feet down the road then saw and smelt smoke coming from the hood. Pop the hood and smoke everywhere, creep back into the driveway and notice a nice puddle of oil under the car where it was parked. Is it possible i blew some oil out with the blt ? Almost seemed like the turbo had no oil in it and fried or something.

It sounds like you have another issue. A blown turbo would be dumping oil out the exhaust, and not into the engine compartment.

Track down the oil leak.

Alright i found a small leak at the oil line on the turbo where it goes on. The bigger leak is all over the o2 housing connection at the downpipe. Turns out im blowing a massive smoke trail down the highway too . These are signs that my turbo took a big dump on me right? I've been seeing 12-14ish boost for the past year on my boost gauge, how could doing one 15ish blt cause the turbo to crap out? i did move the mbc a little during the blt to cover up it's leaking noise but i moved it back to where it was i thought.
