I have researched many different ways on what options I have when it comes to lowering my car but, I want to know which way is truly the best, most reliable way to do it. I live around many crappy streets so I know I don't want to go too low. So basically what should I do so that the car ends up being perfect? Please include pros and cons if any.
Thanks!

I love how this has turned into a 1g suspension thread when it says 2g in the title. :applause::tease:

Well, I'd go with the DG coilover/Koni setup instead, certainly. But would likely still choose it over the cheap coilovers - I'm actually considering it right now with my 2g.

Certainly, using half the DG setup with Konis is better than pretty much anything else out there.

I bought Tokico Blue struts and Tokico Illumina springs in a package deal on ebay for $350 shipped like 2 years ago and they never once gave me a problem. The drop was about 1.75 inches - 2 inches when they finally settled in "sagged". They rode great, were cheap, and were very reliable for well over 20k miles while I owned the car.

Man, you pretty much sold me! I have a couple questions though.
Were you able to ride with 18s? If yes what tire size did you have?
Did you have to rebuild the cambers?
And did you have any problems you noticed at all? Like tire rubbing, weird noises, ect?
Thanks bud
