best timing belt for the $

I have a 95 tsi awd and I have read post on here that talk about timing belts and how they dont really fail, but I dont really want to put a belt on that is not goin to last. So my question is who has had the best results with what belt? So if you gots any info please let me know, I will be buyin one this week and any info would be great.

The OEM belt is great as long as you change it on time.

So the OEM is good for lightly modded engines as well? Or would stronger ones be recommended?

I was looking at gettin a gates that way I know its a good quality.

I just put a gates on mine, quality seemed really good.

I agree 100%, stick with the oem belt. Change it every 60k or change it if you don't know when it was changed last.

I think gates makes the oem belts tbh. i may be mistaken though. But most people are talking about the kevlar belts when they say gates. The kevlar is a nice option though.

oem just got mine in today with water pump, tensioners, and balance belt. have fun putting it on.
