Hello DSM Tuners..

I'm getting back on track for building my barn find 1Gb Talon, and had some questions:
I'm building this car to be a "Strong" daily driver. I'm not goin for track records here, but I do want the car somewhere between 350-500 whp, reliable.

So I'm working on the intake system, was looking at the JMF Street or Race intake manifold. What throttle body should I buy it for, that is large for good power, yet still sorta stock for the accelerator? That's my main question here.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

I'm with @92AWDHX40 .
Stock intake and a Stock 1g throttle body is all you need. My auto 1g HX40 car is running a Stock intake and TB. My stick car has an aftermarket intake manifold but I twist it 9000+, still on a stock TB.
 
Stock throttle body and manifold for 450+ whp?
I'm not terribly concerned about cost, but I'm not spending $1000's of dollars on this one area...

Damn, ok.. it's been decades since building a DSM for me, guess I forgot just how tuff stock parts are
 
I am tuning in the 600's with stock intake and TB. 60mm Turbo and 2150 injectors with Kelford 264 cams. You really only gain top end with a bigger manifold. Its like putting a tunnel ram on a SBC motor. Get another 1000 rpm up top because of the big plenum.

I'm in the 400's for AWHP and using a stock TB and stock IM.
