The only reducer for my n1 downpipe is still sitting in my closet. Its 2.5" off the o2 housing, at the flex section goes to 3" and is a straight pipe from there to the flange for the cat back. (Which is where you would use the reducer if bolting to the stock cat back)
I had a friend who didn't believe me and had to see it measured for his own eyes.....

There, must be a problem if apex-i is selling some d-pipes with or without reducer's. just get a thermal and be done with it.
