A few weeks ago my car died due to my negative battery terminal. It had corroded into this white stuff which go in the way of the contacts. After it was cleaned up (thanks to oldman) the car ran fine.

Today, I snuck a peak at my battery and there is green crap coming from the negative battery terminal. Anyone have any idea what it is or if I need a new battery? The car runs fine.

The green is just more corrosion, you shouldn't need a new battery. I would suggest running to an Advanced Auto or something and pick up some anti-corrosive gel for batteries it'll run ya about $0.99 or so.

Try that and see if it works
