basic tune

What in your mind would be better to get a basic tune with, my car has a safc in it right now but it comes with a dsmlink thats uninstalled at the moment because its not running. i was just wondering what would be better to tune with/get it broken in with. Like should I just run the stock ecu and the safc till the engine gets broken in or install the dsm link to account for the larger injectors and everything else it has right now. if you guys know what to do just let me know cause i wanna run more boost and i want to get rid of the maf and run speed density later just dont know what to do right now when i get it running

If you have link run that much better and you can really tune all aspects of motor.

DSMLink is going to be your datalogging software along with your tuning software. Also, don't forget you'll need a wideband O2 to tune with as well.

yeah i plan on getting a aem ugo when i can and if i can find a place to put it in my car

Fyi, link works very well with the lc-1, around same price as the aem ugeo.

it has a autometer af gauge in it right now but i think thats not a wideband. also has a pyro boost fuel pressure and a couple others. just guess i have to swap the autometer one out for a true wide band

and its a ecm link not a dsm link if there is any difference
