So in neutral or in gear my 1g will not or struggles to rev past 5k, it is a 5speed manual. I have included a video so you can see what I mean in the video it's a neutral rev. Check engine comes on off the throttle but will turn off if I rev a little.

If you post a log it’s easier to see what’s actually going on. Did you fix the 02 sensor problem? What cel is it throwing?
This is in my 1g I don't have anyway to get a log. I can't get the codes read until I order an obd1 scan tool, o'Reillys, auto zone and advanced auto parts don't have 1 to test with. No o2 sensor issues they're both new...

Ahh, I know what this problem is. Your idle position switch is probably not connected.

I think you're on the right track... is this the one you're speaking of? There's a couple more plugs that aren't connected to anything, I found out this motor was swapped in from a 93 eclipse gs.

There was a noticeable improvement after grounding it... but when driving it still doesn't seem right under wot near 4.5 5k it hesitates and doesn't want to rev out. I drove it on the interstate today for the 1st time and at some points I was pretty much matted struggling to get to 75 and maintain.

Almost like it cuts out maybe fuel related it did sit for awhile?
