This problem first started abotu 2 weeks ago. I changed my spark plugs and they werent the right kind i guess of NGK plugs. Also when I changed the plugs i did a compression test also. I put new NGK plugs back in and the car seemed to run fine for a few days. Well the car started acting funny and it woudlnt start up right. It would like sound like its just about there to fire up when u turn the key but it wouldnt quite hit it. Other times it would start up. Well we took the car in to the shop and they replaced the o2 sensor. By the way my check engine light has been on for liek 8 months and some mechanic told me that it wasnt a big deal to change teh o2 sensor. anyways we got the o2 sensor changed and the check engine light went off for good now. Well tonite i was at work and i went out to my car to leave and the car wont start. It liek turns over and chirps very rapidly just like its about to fire up but it wont quite start. We had to tow it back to my house because i got a $1,500 system in the car and can't leave it sit somewhere over night. Got any ideas guys i need it fixed before next weekend. Thanks.

Also when i put new spark plugs in and then started teh car with teh bad o2 sensor it soaked the spark plugs in gas i think. Cuz we checked them and right after we put brand new ones in they were black when we took them out to check. Do you think that the coil pad is bad?

If the engine is turning over but not starting, this means you have a problem with spark (ignition). So either your coil pack is bad (test the resistance between the coils with a digital multimeter, please refer to your shop manual) OR your power transistor is bad. I gaurantee that either one of those is at fault. To make sure you are INDEED getting spark, take a spark plug (an extra one you have lying around) and connect it to one of your plug wires and try to start the car. If you see no spark then you know it is an ignition problem.
