If i have some problem with my ignition system (wires, coils or plugs), can it provide a lot of knocks under loads??

A rich (reach) mixture is harder to ignite. If you lean it out the misfires might go away, but then you're too lean to prevent knock.
Stez said:Yes, this exactly the situation i have! when the mixture is lean - there is no misfire (on load) but im getting knocks... but when im starting adding fuel and its getting more rich - the misfires appear! so the problem is in the ignition system i guess, the only thing i need to do is to define what exactly is my problem - wires, coils or plugs (probably plugs ok, since i changed it to new ngk7bpr and nothing change) so it sould be wires or coils... I was considering about COP setup to eliminate both... how do you think?
aero_sallee said:What gap did you set the plugs to? Make sure they are gapped to 0.028. After that try wires, its much cheaper and more likely to be your problem than coils. I've had misgapped plugs cause exactly what you are describing.
