Havent really found anything in similar threads but here we go:

I have a 1995 Eclispe GS 420A. Everything has been kept good and taken care of.

1. My first problem is that it idles up and down from 800-1000 rpm really fast. Noise out of the exhaust pipe sounds a little like "boo boo boo boo" like its not a solid idle if you know waht i mean...

2. My Air/fuel ratio gauge is right where its supposed to be!

3. My Vaccuum Gauge is at 15 out of 30 on the gauge, so right in the middle. Everytime i rev the car the gauge goes from 30 to 0 in like 1 millisecond, i dont know if thats supposed to happen.

4. Sometimes when i rev my car up to like 2000-2500 rpms, it will stay at 2000 rpms and start reving way up so i shut it off.

5. if i hit the gas pedal a little bit, it goes to about 2000rpm and then goes back to 800 super slow its really slow. Then other times i hit it and it goes to 2000rpm and then back down to 800 really really fast?

6. Unhooked my TPS sensor while car was running, it didnt seem to affect anything and still revved same without TPS.

Could this be my IAC valve/sensor? or maybe vaccuum leak since when i hit the gas my gauge shoots down to 0?..

Thanks guys.

Im gonna say its the AIC. fast reving and slow reving arent common side effects of it going bad but the idle up and down is nearly a dsm trademark LOL. try swapping it out.

also you vacuum gauge is supposed to go from 30hg to 0hg/psi when you hit the throttle.
When your engine is at idle there is vacuum being enacted by the lack of airflow through the filter and intake mani. When you throttle up, i reduces the vacuum because of the increased proportional airflow.
