Bad Idle On Start Up

Ok I just Bought my 96 eclipse gst it was running great for the first few days then one day i came out got in it(first thing in the am) started it up and it idled like it was going to die then it would bounce back up then drop again near dying..my remedy has been to rev it at about 2k til it warms up then it will idle normal by itself...anybody know whats going on?

check for vacuum line leaks or any leaks at all runnin to and from turbo piping,hoses,couplers.See if your Throttle positioning sensor(TPS)is set to factory specs or need a new one,Check your Idle speed control servo(ISC servo)you can do all that with your service manual from parts store and a $25 ohmmeter from wal-mart mine works great,Coil pack where ever your plug wires attach to besides plugs of course...Fuel pressure regulator might be bad.Do a compression test for each cylinder.If its an auto then check your neutral start switch.check plugs to see if they're fouled in ANY way.Best bet since I don't know what motor mods you have is to get a service manual and they have a trouble shooting guid.But start with getting the manual $15 give or take Oh,Check your IAC Valve(Idle air control valve)

This car is bone stock except for a new t25 turbo from who knows where...i kno i have some sort of leak because the car just isnt as fast as it was a week ago...and my stock boost gauge is damn near maxed out when im at 3k in 3rd gear and im moving at a snails pace.

but i have ordered a manual i should receive it today or monday at the latest

its going to idle ruff when its cold out. i live close to vegas and its been pretty cold over night so in the mornings my car doesnt idle like normal untill its warmed up all the way.

Don't follow the stock boost gauge. It's very inaccurate.
