Bad ECU? Pic inside

My camera is horrible so bare with me. I circled the 2 sections where there is this black corrossion on the board and on the connectors. Would this cause my car not to start? Thanks.

Please provide us with a focused picture. When you say black corrosion do you mean black residue? Maybe the board shorted out?

It's very possible. I had dsm wiseman "steve" rebuild my bad ECU. He did an amazing job and even gave me a print up of all the work that was done to the board.

I would have that ECU rebuilt asap, before more damage is done to the board and making the repair more costly.
