Hi Everyone,

I would like to introduce myself as I would like to become an active member to learn and speak with topic experts as I work through my current project. My name is James, and I am located in the States, East of the Appalachians. I own a 1994 Eagle Talon Tsi, I purchased the car around high school from a former teacher. me and some friends pulled it out of the woods, and with the basic hand tool and no knowledge, we replaced the interior and timing belt, then hand to take it apart again and replace the head. I drove it around for a while and never really installed any parts. Now 12 years later, I am restoring it with my two sons. Many back then believed that the block and replacement head were Built as they ran strong and held really good boost. We will see.

I look forward to meeting everyone.

Check capacitors C106, C107 and C108 for leakage or any discoloration in the ECU. They are getting old so a lot of times those need replaced.
Very happy to see another DSM being saved! Welcome to the forum!

I understand using the search function and have lurked the forum for years off and on. I alos understand that it's difficult to give advice without knowing the goals and budget of the project. I look forward to contributing to the community with my experience in creating job instructions and standardized work instructions In the driveline/automotive industry. documenting my efforts as I go.
