Hey guys

I am wondering if an auto meter 3.75 inch 10000 rpm can be installed in a 95 2g? http://www.autometer.com/3-3-4-tach-10-000-rpm-std-ign.html

I figured out that the tach signal is on pin 58 or pin 4 on the ignition transistor unit but i can't find any info as to whether or not that tach signal will properly drive this tach...

Has any one installed an auto meter tach(i would assume yes) and if so did you need the adapter from auto meter or did it work by just giving the gauge power as required and tapping into the tach signal wire.(obviously setting tach up to work with a 4cyl).

I want to order a tach asap as I am not running a dash at all in the car so would much prefer not to need the factory cluster.

Thanks in advance

Garrett
