I'm currently in the proccess of converting a 99 eclipse gs automatic to a manual and the only question I have is the wiring. I have 2 cars, the one I converting to a manual, and one that I am taking parts from to make the car manual. Is it possible to just simply disconnect the engine wiring harness from the fuse box from both cars and just swap them? Cause the only difference in the wiring engine between auto and man. is speed sensor and reverse sensor.
Thanks! Brad

It could work "IF" the cars are the same year, and "IF" it has the same engine. You will have to also swap the parts of the chassis harness inside the car that goes to the Auto shifter and possibly the shifter interlock with the brake pedal.

You will also have to swap the TCU into the car that is now going to be an Auto. I would recommend that you also swap the ECU between the cars as the Auto ECU is looking for an "OK" signal from the shifter that you are not in Park or Neutral.

Hats off to you for the project, but it might be cheaper to source another manual for the car you were planning on making an Auto.
