automatic tranny

just have a question on auto tranny i have a 93 eclipes automatic 2litter non turbo 2 wheel drive and was looking for new tranny for it but cant find one was wondering if there is other cars with same tranny that would fit

I couldn't remember whether or not the non-turbo eclipse got a F4A2? or one of the KM series. According to this website: Search Parts For 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse In Transmissions Automatic Store - Auto Parts Fair®, you have a KM175-5. It says you can find this in the 89-93 Galant, 93-97 Mirage, 92-93 Expo and of course their Dodge/Eagle twins. That should open up some options

the tranny that is in it now is f4a222 check the internet it said that the 92-98 hyundi elantra 1.8l is the same do you know let me know
