Ok so Im wondering what parts if any will fit from what cars..

This is the swap Im doing.. Gsx Automatic>> Gsx 5 Speed

"Parts List:

Clutch Peddle Assembly
Brake Peddle Assembly
Shifter Base Shifter and Shifter cables
Clutch Master
Clutch Reservoir and bracket that holds it to the firewall
Cluth line NO THE RRE one is not complete from fire wall to slave
Clutch Slave

You need a transmission
T-Case
Rear Diff
AND YES THEY HAVE TO HAVE THE RIGHT RATIO's! You will also need depending on what you have in the car right now, if you have LSD and swap to NON LSD you need BOTH rear CV shafts from an NON LSD car.

You also need both front drive shafts and the indermediate shaft on an auto and manual differ so get that shaft too.

Center console"
(Taken from the thread that explains how to do it)

Im wondering if you can take any parts off of:

Gst Manual
420a Manual
Or any other dsm's/non dsms besides a gsx or tsi awd

Can you take only parts off a 2g? or are some parts the same on a 1g?

Such as the shifter? or the clutch pedal? or the center console? are they the same on any other cars.. or if you see anything else on the parts list that I can get off the other cars please tell me because im not sure what is the same.

The reason I ask is im going to a junkyard and im wondering what cars I can take parts off of so I dont waste my time taking out parts that dont fit..

Also if there is available places to order these parts online too any links are very much appreciated!

Thank you for all your help! Sorry I ask so much Im new :).

parts you should be able to pull off any 2G (420A or 4g63)
Clutch Peddle Assembly
Brake Peddle Assembly
Shifter Base Shifter
Center console
Clutch Master (not entirely sure on this one but i have no reason to believe Mitsubishi would make a different one for the 420A cars)
Clutch Reservoir and bracket that holds it to the firewall (again, not entirely sure on this one)

or you can PM me...:D

from GST
shift cables

as far as i know 1G transmissions are the same gear ratio as the 2G the difference is the output shaft spline count. that along with the fact that on a 1G the front and rear trans mounts are actually on the engine so custom mounts would have to be made. also i am not sure if the 1G rear end will fit in a 2G car either... so much easier and safer to just find trans, transfer, and rear end from a 2G

Alright Thanks for your help! Its funny because your profile pic is exactly what im doing to mine only black.. theres not a part on this car that wont be touched :D

Thank you very much!:thumb:

you dont need the whole center console just the shifter boot. the auto console has the spots for it to screw to. i just done a gst auto to a gsx man swap. the brake pedal can be used if you cant find one. it will need to be cut done to clear the clutch easier. i had to go this route. the donor brake pedal was messed up from the wreck and couldnt use it.

ok so the boot is all I would need? It said I would have to do cutting..in the tutorial.. I still have the console.. hmm

You will need to swap the transfer case and rear end as well. Interested in selling the auto stuff?

Yeah I am but.. you live to far away to come pick it up.. and shipping would suck the tranny is just sitting outside of my car.. and so is the other crap

you will need the rear hanging bracket to be welded too the car.the front one can reused you just need to put in some grade 8 bolts after you drill out the spot welds .also be careful when welding your carpet could catch fire.ask me how I know.
