There's no need for this type of posting. It's insulting. Let's not use it in these forums. This is exactly what pisses people off and starts flame wars. There's simply no way to accurately prove the truth in an online forum, but there's also no way to prove someone is lying, so let's avoid making any accusations.

I would say 325 to 350 whp for a fwd at most, with a good driver. My God 375 whp would be about 410 to 425 hp at the crank, on a fwd. That means I would never see a high 12 without going inside my motor and upgrading my stock tooth pick rods.Originally posted by gsxtacy
well guys/gals-
This was post was not intended to start a flame war and we pretty much already have the answer.......around 300 whp to break 12's in a AWD, around 375 w/ a FWD and a good driver. I fully believe that with a FWD its all about the launch and a good set of tires., an AWD is more forgiving on the launch since you would have minimal tire spin and AWD 60' foot like crazy, hell I am by no way a good driver and I can 60' my GSX in the 1.75-1.85 range all day. MY best in my GSX so far was a 1.69 but that was on a awesome .525 light and 3/4 tank of fuel (no bog)....and I believe the clutch slipped a little and acted like a stall convertor. Can't this post end now. Again thanks for all the replies and best of luck to everyone who takes their car to the track soon!!!
