ARP mains and head studs

Quick question about the ARP main and head studs. After I get them to where they need to be torqued at is there like another half turn or something I gotta do?

They will come with torque specs in the box. Be sure to use the lube that is supplied with them on the threads, both sides of the washers and under the nut.

After installing the main studs you'll also want to check the align bore in the block. Often times the studs will distort the housing bores.

Yeah in the ARP box it just show the torque specs dosent say anything about stretching them or anything of that nature

You only need to achieve their recommended torque spec and nothing more. That value will preload the stud to the correct amount.

Ok. Now what about the rod bolts? Their the 2000 arp bolts on the scat rods

Your rods didn't come with a spec sheet?

They did, I'm just wondering if i have to stretch them and if i do how much of a turn

No as states above that torque value is set to the proper preload, you dont want to stretch them, infact IMO, the less times you torque it the better. Stretching is a bad thinf
