Well in this build my goal is about 650-700 hp. I was wanting to get some opinions on which main bolt/stud to in with. Can i run the Kiggly Racing block girdle with stock mains? I've already got the ARP's but I've heard a couple things that's got me second guessing.

Thanks, Adam

Right from his site "Fits 4G63 and G4CS Blocks with minor grinding, must use main studs."

If you are putting the girdle on you might as well use the arp studs. The only reason not to is if you don't want to spend the money on having the mains align honed. You have to do that with the girdle anyway so you might a well use them.

What kind of stuff have you been hearing that you don't like about the arp's?

Right, if you run the main girdle, you must run the main studs. Also, when using the main girdle, you should line hone the block. Same goes for the main studs, when using them, you should line hone the block. So if your using the main girdle and main studs, then line hone the block.

Just heard they didn't have as much clamping force as stock. I always thought they had way more than stock. Really don't know how accurate that info was though.

Oops. This is the OP. My friend was still logged in.
