ARP headstuds install on a 2g through VC

Looking to put my ARP head studs in tomorrow to raise the boost. I will be keeping the head on and going through the VC. I know the sequence and tq specs but I read something about 7 bolts needing to be tapped before te arps will fit?

Just wondering what all I should know before I start. I've tried searching it can't find anything for my particular situation.

To my knowledge, take one out at a time starting from either middle or sides and do 1 at a time torquing to final tq on the first tq after installing into the block.

Wh t am I forgetting?

what turbo do you have? and how much boost? i would just pop the head off and do new gaskets. i have ARP studs in my 1g. i dont know if you wanna loosen them one at a time, sounds risky.

You are ok as long as you have 7 bolt studs and a 7 bolt head. If you were going to convert to 6 bolt you have to tap the head. Go for it!
