Got my ARP's in the mail today :D On the "instructions" sheet, it says to torque (preload) the fasteners to 81 ft/lbs. (with moly lube). However, I was reading on the forms and a guy who called ARP said to torque them to 65 ft/lbs WITH the molylube... I'm thinking 65 sounds like a better torque number (81 is a bit high).

65 is for stock headbolts....75-80 for apr's. i have mine torqued to 85

Cool. I guess I'll do the 81 like ARP suggests. My mechanic is actually doing this for me as I'll be out of town. It doesn't matter which studs he torques down as long as it's in a criss-cross pattern, correct? Thanks.

start from the middle and work your way out, going from side to side...in the order below order. do 30, 50, then 80.
