How much for just the hood and possibly the ALT if u have it ...I would like the headlight housings .....how bad does the radiator leak can it be sealed .....srry for all the questions just wanna make sure it would be worth the drive I would have to strap ikr to the top of my azteck LOL

The radiator leaks in the fins it was bad enough for me to notice. Idk.... Not big on chargin fellow tuners for crap, but the wife has to get some form of repayment for the money I spent LOL. 35$ take the hood and headlights. If I have the alternator, you can have it because if I took it off, it probably needs rebuilt anyways.

Il dig through the crap this weekend. And let you know, quite a few odds and ends. As clean as the engine bay was. I was hard pressed not to swap the white devil into it LOL. That would have probably been a better idea ;)

Kei, who had that talon before you? I thought I could get away with the springs that where on it. The white devil was a road grater :p

Of course I knew better than to mess with cut springs LOL I was lucky to get out of my drive way that day.

Ok sounds good if u could PM me ## address and a good time for u for me to come so I figure out how long of a drive it is so I can deside if I wanna drive the truck or not

Green beans, that plastic surrounding the steering column? I checked and I have it and its in perfect condition. I also have a evergreen headgasket. Not sure how good those are, that's why I didn't use it. Some extra gaskets here and there. Also a spare 1gintake MANI

Dose anybody have a T25 turbo to intercooler the "rubber pipe" laying around? Also has anybody been to the cabot pick and pull, any turbo 2g's there?

Me too. anyone ever drop a pan with the motor in the car on a 1g. I gotta pull the poisons our of this 6 bolt to hone the cylinders a little bit.

I'm trying to think. Take exhaust loose, get the DP out of the way. Not sure if the x case has to come down, but that's no big deal either, just get you a 2x4 or something to set it on. I think it can be done. But, somethin is telling me you have to pull the front case for some reason but my memory can serve me incorrectly.

Yeah I don't have a cherry picker and that's all it needs to be a good block again may just try steel wool on it to see if it's that bad
 
Transfer case must drop. Carrier mount on the back of the block for the half shaft must be loosened at least. Can't recall if there is a cross member or not but I don't believe so. Exhaust/Downpipe. Should be able to access it then. Only about a 30 minute process. And don't use Steel Wool for the cross-hatching. Rent a Hone (Stones) and knock the glaze off. 6 Strokes up and down at slow speed in one direction, reverse the direction on the drill, and 6 strokes up and down at slow speed in that direction. Put rags at the bottom of each cylinder also to keep material off of the crank. Then wipe it down with some oil.

No need to rent kei I already have a hone tool its just not a ball hone its the sooner kind like you said

and there's no exhaust on it really

Where do people meet up at in LR?

There's one spot Friday and Saturday night at Luby's restaurant off of chenal and Markham. They meet around 10pm

Well guys yesterday was the big day. The talon is now complete and driving. there is some minor things to finish like the radio and wiring up my oil, and coolant temp gauges. I hooked up my boost gauge but haven't wired the light in it. It is so gratifying to have all your hard work pay off. i drove her for about an hour but kept it short distances and was just checking for leaks , overheating, smoke, ect. I will take her home today and probably go to the doctor and get some stitches. I had a electric cut off wheel making the modifications to my exhaust get hung up and shot out of my hands hitting me right above the ankle but on the front of my leg. About 3 inches from my ankle. It didn't hurt at first so I finished making my cut. Then I checked where it hit me and sure enough there was a deep gash. Not to long maybe an inch but it is deep. I got out the first aid kit and had a buddy give me some peroxide and a band aid and kept working on the car. I was to the last part of getting it done i wasn't about to quit, I had to drive her and let me tell you it was worth it. I'm glad I stuck it out because today is tough.
 
I did some runs at the newport drag today for the first time. I ran 9's all day, with the occational 10's. 1/8 mile. I need AWD... Spinning is the enemy. I had a video if you guys would like to see?
