Not bashing on my own ride :) i love DSM's but i have been comparing to a few of my friends rides':
2002 WRX , 1996 civic with civic type R engine on it, and my car on the long road will be slower than both, i mean i have to put in like $2,000-3,000 on the car just to hit 13's if i'm lucky 12's. ANd my buddy with the WRX has a chip($600), Exhaust($700),turbo($500),MBC(50) and he hits 12's all day. I may be skeptic but from what i have read and such, the car's that are in the 11-13 sec have huge amounts of mods but i feel as if the 4g63T engine has a lot of potential yet it doesn't:confused: , it's like i max out my car for the amount of money my buddies car's are hitting almost 11 secs. Well mine looks better than theirs :)
except the impreza, i love that car!!!

dual stage boost controller allows you to set the bc at 2 diff psi points. you can set one point at 9psi for the launch and when you get traction go to a higher psi. you controller it from a switch that you install in your dash (or wherever you want).

what he said ;)

well, if your car is relatively stock... don't expect to be faster than those cars... let ur car breathe (uic piping, exhaust etc.) and upgrade that turbo... not much in our class of cars will be able to keep up... especially the wrx; awd powerloss and weight ... fwd was meant for freeway...

Yeah, take your friends wrx on the interstate with ya and see how well he can keep up. I'm not positivly sure how they do from 60-100, but I'm betting you will pull on him.

Fwd! OMG i could barely keep the tires from spinning in 2nd Gear when my car was completely stock. In all honesty with street tires, if I had "stage 2 upgrades" done to my car I bet it may even spin in 3rd Gear. I love my car to death, but the wheel spin gets old real quick!

Our drivetrain sucks : the transaxle is weak and transmissions break often. The engine is great though... I have to agree with everyone here and say run from a roll. I'm never racing my car from a stop, it's embarassing... 2.4 is my best 60' fwd a/t's suck dick unless youre rich to buy fancy torque/stall converters.
