that's similar to the OBD port in size and location- is there an OBD plug anywhere behind there or under your steering wheel?

Yes the 16 pin port is still in stock location .. Tonight I will follow it and post what i find.. found late last night so didnt feel like being Sherlock holms

humm good point may have been why.. I never got told exactly why had suspended license .

The connector is for an anti-theft system. Pro Lock made such a system a while back. It has a "key" that inserts in the connector like shown below:

Ty for that was starting to get curious.. Yea works so i guess it was disabled and should be ok to remove than.
