has anyone seen this mbc before? need some input

friend just recieved this, he hooked pressure source into the nipple with the arrow on it (on the bottom of the mbc) and top nipple running to wastegates, boost will not change whether knob is turned all the way down or all the way up, i cant figure out what that metal tee with the nipples is for, it does something or else they wouldnt of included it, if u blow into the purple vac nipple on it, it blows out the nipple the arrow is pointing to has a ball inside, lemme know what u guys think

It looks like a turbosmart knock off it is an in cabin boost controller.
Go to slowboys site and you will see what i am talking about. Here is the install instructions for turbo smart hope this helps i know it is not the same brand but it is the same setup. http://www.turbosmart.com.au/pdf/FG-GBCV-IC.PDF

Hey bro, before you buy this. Don't!

, I actually just bought one of these and it really is an EXACT replica of the Turbosmart In-car controller. EXACT it's pretty amazing how they get away with it legally..

Unfortunately I can't get it to work. I used the install instructions from turbosmart and I just cannot get it to control my boost. I'm thinking what happened was they put the ARROW sticker on backwards and it's not facing the right direction.

I'm planning on trying it backwards to see if it works, or just using the larger peice as a normal mbc.

Let me know how yours works.

Its ebay crap man... sorry to let you down but the low price is a sceam. you'll see thousands of these exact same "mbc's" all over ebay by all sorts of companys.

I wasn't sure if they really worked or not so i never bought one to be safe, and just got a joe-p (simple design, nothing flashy so i know it works) $35 unused too!

I really wouldn't rely on it to controll my boost... at all! Strut tower bars and some of the cosmetic stuff is ok though but please dont buy cheap ebay stuff to controll your engine.

P.S. Your friend will probably get another email for a knock-off afpr too... dont buy that eather .

That's a horrible design. You should never have the vacuum referance lines running all the way into the cabin, then all the way back out. I can't even imagine the boost spike that would cause.

Aside from that, you hooked it up all wrong. The metal T thing is what actually controls the boost. My friend had one of the dual stage turbosmarts on his Integra. Its a stupid setup, if I remember correctly it went like this....
