I have tried and tried to get a good BLT out of my current setup but anytime i get near 20psi in the pipes the damn tester popes off the sloped holset compressor inlet.. I've even glued it on with silicone andit popped off 30 seconds later.. think i'm gonna have to weld a bead around it :(

How did you grind off the vband? I left a lip on mine.

He is talking about the inlet, not the outlet.

If the compressor cover is sealed properly, you're obviously not going to have a major leak there....just pop the coupler off your outlet and do the test there with a 2.5" BLT adapter.

Yea, that's what it's coming down to. I just don't want to deal with doing it that way when i'm so use to just popping off the intake pipe and putting my tester on there and pumping it up. Oh well i guess, Next time I have the compressor housing off i AM putting a bead around that bi*** to ensure this doesn't happen anymore
