I saw one bad review on where guy used stainless turbo gasket and it warped and locked his bolts in place forcing them to break when he tried to remove the turbo.

I had bad luck in my car with the cheaper copper one so went to a thick stainless. I did seem to find that my cheap factory bolts were stuck in place when went to remove the turbo from the exh man so sold them as set to another guy.

Anyone else finding they have had this problem. I have stainless bolts for my turbo to exh man this time around and was wondering if maybe a person should drill out the holes a bit oversize as extra precaution. I have seen no further posts except the one on the is part and am pretty sure lots of people and sponsors are selling them and using them.

So anymore comments and opinions. They also make a stainless o2 gasket..

i have them for my evoIII and i had no problems getting the bolts loose or taking the turbo off. Of course i did use some anti seize in there so the bolt wouldn't become welded in there with how hot it gets. the gaskets were from slowboy if that makes a difference or not.

Lately I have run into problems removing my bolts, but not b/c of the gasket. I have used SBR's gasket and Bullseyes gasket. The reason mine were breaking were b/c I didn't use lock washers, for spacing it out, or antiseaze, and I tightened them too tight.

I've used a SS turbo to exhaust manifold gasket for about a year now and haven't had any problems gettin out the bolts, and I'm still using the factory bolts/stud with my EvoIII.
