Any good write ups on torque pro for android?

I searched, but i couldnt find anything, torque and pro are in way too many possibilitys to find what Iwant. Im gonna be running link v3 in my 97, I want to use m phone for logging. Mostly for fun. I want to know what people are doing for reading sensors and stuff.
 
I would really be interested in knowing about this too. Itd be awesome to hook up the s3 to log when i dont want to take a laptop.
 
works great with my envoy with my s2 lte, Way better then logging with Link or Dsmap or MMsD(i have logged on it all!) but is limited to what the envoy will tell me. Since Link is so versatile as to what I can program my ins and outs to be, Id like to see how people have logged boost and wideband with it. I use the cheapest BT adapter on ebay btw.

I can change the 1-5 volt values on tuner pro EGR temp gauge to show -20min to +30 max and change the title to boost. so I should be able to use that to read the volts from a map sensor for boost.

I also can read the secondary o2 and change it to read 7min to 22 max, So i should be able to run my 5v wideband to it right?

I dont have link set up yet.. its in the garage, and my motor is on a stand, with my tranny in a zillion peices.
 
i started off using the free prog and liked it so i bought the full pro program...i was able to tune my car using it and my maft before i had a wideband...i bought a cheap bluetooth adapter off ebay for like 15$ it works good actually ive used it to scan codes on other cars...my rpms are off and throttle %, i checked these by my safc...the safc is spot on with rpms compared to my tach so i know its either the adapter or the program itself...ill try to list the things i can log

engine load
rpm
fuel trim bank 1 long term
fuel trim bank 1 short term
fuel trim bank 1 sensor 1&2
timing adv
o2 sensor 1 voltage
mas volts
throttle
vac\boost-but goes by mdp sensor so as good as the dash gauge

as a note my speed sensor is out, i have no rear o2, and my evap system is deleted along with my f.p.r. solenoid (i run from my afpr directly to the manifold)
there is a option for air fuel ratio, not sure if it would work if i had both o2 sensors going, ill be able to tell soon when i wire in my zeitronic w\b to the ecu so it will give the ecu a rear 02 sensor signal.
You can have the prog start logging automatically when it is started and automatically uploaded to the torque scan server where you can pull it up and look at it.

All in all i really like it and most people are blown away by all the things it can do...of course for us dsm guys theres nothing like link logging and maybe it would be more acurate with a better adapter which would make it more useful.
There are a few things it doesnt read that i wish it would, a\f, trans temp.
Theres a free plugin for the paid program that lets you record "track times" 0-60, 1\4 mile, 1\8 mile, 40-60, 60-0, 60-120, 60-80, 80-100. Also your supposed to ba able to get a estimated horsepower and torque by entering some data like vehicle weight and they use gps to calculate how fast that much weight moved how far and in what time. I havent got this to work, so not sure if it does...al though maybe because my speed sensor is broke has something to so with it.

Hopefully this helped you guys some...not the best writing and not really a write up exactly but its my experience with it...any questions lmk and ill see if i can answer them.

I was also wondering the same thing. I downloaded this app a few days ago and am currently waiting on the bluetooth adapter to be shipped, should be here tuesday.

But, I was going through all of the different displays and it seems a bit overwhelming. What would be the best ones to select? Or I'll just post what "custom display" I've made just by messing around and see what you'd change/add/delete.

Top Left- AFR (measured)- small half dial meter
Top Right- Timing advance- small half dial meter
Left Mid- Long term fuel trim 1- small half dial meter
Right Mid- Short term fuel trim 1- small half dial meter
Left Mid- Fuel trim sensor 1- tiny digital display
Center Mid- Fuel trim sensor 2- tiny digital display
Right Mid- o2 sensor 1 volts- tiny digital display
Left Bottom- Throttle position- small dial needle
Right Bottom- Engine load- small dial needle

I know it seems like a lot on one screen but I figured the more info the better, and I tried using the different types of gauges to break it up and be easier to read.

I figured run the wideband to the rear 02 sensor and program the WB to display as 0-1v = 7-14v so the voltage would be a/f ratio.

so i would run

WBa/f
boost/
rpm
timing
and have link display knock as something the App can read.

If Link will display knock on the stock boost gage, then the App will display knock on its boost gauge right?

Then Iguess i have to use the EGR readings to show boost with a map sensor.

Unless link can actually change the airflow meter to a boost.

I dont know link. On DSmap it did.
