Hey all. I've been mulling over the idea.. I've spent a stupid amount of money to get a decent palm that's extremely outdated, find a new battery for it, get a serial adapter, etc. etc.

I was thinking of porting MMCd to Android and then creating a bridge via Bluetooth from the OBD port of the car. Obviously this would be with first gens in mind, but I could likely expand it to include second gens at a later date (and when I have access to a second gen for testing). Let me know what you think, and if you would like to be added to an update list, send me a PM with your email (or post it here). Thanks!

OBDII. It was honestly the best 20 dollars i have spent. I can read check engine codes and everything. You cannot log though ( Well i cant figure it out, you might be able to). Can you log with this software?

Yes you can log. Its part of the app you have to download. Its called track recorder.

Hey guys, sorry for all of the confusion. As Bud previously stated... I came down with the flu, which turned into pneumonia. I have chronic bronchitis, and was hospitalized. I was released today.

I attempted to use my knowledge of the matrix and plugged the hospital phone into my ear canal... unfortunately, they're on the new IPv6 protocol and I'm only up to IPv4 :\

Everyone that remains to get their device will be shipped out tomorrow.

Sorry for being "the bi***" ;)

In addition, it's a good thing you didn't pay the bi***... because you'd be sitting there with your thumb up your ass wondering why it doesn't work with your hybrid ECU car (and I'm sure it would have been the bi***'s fault)

I'd say...

He should make loggers for the Chevy Cruze, im sure that would be a hot market right there. :D

If I didnt absolutely burn myself out programming for a living then i might have tried to do something for the DSM community myself, but honestly I would probably shoot myself after the first complaint.

You can log the WBO2 output as well. Connect the voltage output pin of the gauge to the EGT input pin on your ECU. I'll sort out the formula for it next software update :thumb:

Remember that not all wb units have the same resolution. My aem was a full point off from my lc1. Both were run in the stock position. I chose the lc1. It just worked better...in my car and setup.

Correct - but that's why I'll also add an option in the menu to choose which sensor you have ;)

Also... you have to be careful with widebands. The most common place to put them is in the downpipe for two reasons: 1) they are not very heat-tolerant. Placing them too close to the exhaust stream will end up destroying them, and 2) they also work better when positioned at a specified angle (or range of angles) relative to the stream of exhaust gas
