That is how I had mine also and a local guy told me I will have better hold in boost if I use the top nipple also. I have the ssautochrome gate and the gasket has not gone bad on me yet.

You hook it up just like you would an EBC with both lines. You also need to put a "bleeder "T" into the line between the MBC abd wastegate top line.

I did this for some time. It works well. But with TiAL's suggested plumbing, you don't get that quick spool like running a ball and spring valve off the lower port alone, or with an internal gate, it's only port. It holds well to a certain point where the spring wil let the valve blow open. So not but so much boost can be used until a bigger spring is neccesary.

I wanted the gate to see no boost until the threshold I chose (like a a traditional mbc install) for that quick spool. And while I was at it I wanted not to swap in another spring again. My way above is not the cheapest. But it is VERY good at not spiking. Which I was having a problem using a stronger spring and one MBC on just the lower port. Just adding my experience. . . Someone elses setup may act very difference.

Also, my 5psi spring from the ebay gate couild hold up to 20-21psi with the mbc working at just the lower port. It cracked upen after that with my holset.
