Well if I go with the t3 housing, does it spool up quicker then if I went with the mitsu housing? I'm more into road race then drag

Yoy need, mucho partos. kris sead depending on if your going mitsu or t-3, a crap load of more parts. At the end of the day, it depends on what your end power goal is so you don't end up like me buying parts just to sell them because i changed my power goals like 3 times.
I would start with the small stuff first or better sead parts yoy can use with current set up. So by the time your ready for the holset all you got to do is install it.:thumb:

Well i wont be putting them on in the wrong order, im going by the list that i got from Corey, but i have no prob letting them sit in my closet until i get to that point if i can get them cheaper (or free) now then later...

My goal is around 450, with more of a road race setup, so prefer for it to spool a little quicker then a turbo set up for drag...

if your goal is 450, your gonna need alot of supporting mods. and beef up your drivetrain aswell. gonna need a diff so that way you dont just spin one wheel all the time and tear up the tranny up, then you'll need a beefier clutch to handle to torque. I'd suggest a twin disc carbon unit. :thumb:

He will not need a twin disk for road racing.

Well be that as it may, he'll still need another clutch to handle that kind of power.

And mostly stock fuel system parts won't get to 450hp

Well, i was looking at the 2600 ACT clutch, or the one from the shop that Kris mentioned earlier in the threads... For fuel, im converting to E85 around the end of the year and prob getting 1200cc injectors for it, will be getting an AFPR and either the Walbro 255 or the pump that Kris has, so im sure that fuel setup will be enough to handle it, as well as going to be switching to an AWD setup later down the road, seeing as how anything over around 325 will just spin my front tires, plan on doing all of the other supporting mods that go along with it, but im not going to just toss money out the window to be cool for a little bit and then not get great performance out of it, im going to take my time and take it step by step... will be keeping it a DD as long as possible so will be putting maintenance ahead of raw power

To be honest, from what ive been reading, i would love to go with a twin scroll turbo, seeing as they have the best low end boosting properties, but cost wise, im thinking the hx35 would be best

i have a quick question... is it possible to have wheel hop with a welded center differential on only one wheel?

because i swear every time i launch my passenger rear wheel is hopping Every time at the track, mind you i'm only pulling 1.9 60's

oh... and maf clamp + map == car cutting out like crazy ... or at least this is my experience

a welded center will do nothing for wheel hop in the rear it would be the diff in the rear. I was getting som real bad wheel hop in the rear but it turned out to be some bad shocks in the rear. it could also be the tires you are using.

Also why are you using the maf clamp function you should not be out flowing a 2g maf on a 14b. 1g maf yes 2g maf no.

He's running a big 20g now or something like that, so that's probably why he is out flowing it

I'm thinking its his bad suspension, it was starting to act like mine the last time I was in his car, and mine is fubared

If Bryan were running 30psi on that 20g I could see him getting close to hitting the frequency limit of the stock 2g MAF, he'd have to be flowing 50 lbs/min. If that were the case I'd expect to see some 100mph+ trap speeds coming from that car at Barona...
