1G Any differences between stock HLA Regulators?

Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any differences between the 2 stock HLA Regulator designs.

What do they look like from the underside? That should answer your question.

The difference is generation/design. The right one is the previous generation. There is one more older design and all of previous design regulators were replaced with the left one. So all of them technically work the same.

I was wondering if the passages were different diameters or depths, which would affect operating pressure. I don't think any of them would change overall function of the engine, but those were updated for some reason.

I think I did a quick comparison long time ago. Since I don't remember well if there was obvious difference between the two in the pic above, I think there is no big difference. For sure, one obvious difference is with the oldest one, which came with the pressure relief valve which is exactly the same as the one on OFH (but with a different spring rate). Which mean it's kinda adjustable by shimming the spring. But I guess there is more chance to cause a oil pressure trouble in the cylinder head in case if the plunger gets stuck or loose/pop-out.
I think I still have all of them somewhere in my garage. Out of curiosity, maybe I would compare them again if I find them.
