Any 1G auto AWD's out there??

Just wondering if anyonehas experience with a 1G awd automatic? I know the auto trannys dont hold up to much power but anyone here have any first hand epirence with a built auto tranny on a awd?

That's funny. I heard the opposite. And I urged my brother to pickup a blown 1991 autmatic. I tcomes stock w/ a pretty LARGE transmission cooler. Also, for about 1K in costs you can have an auto tranny that can handle what a stage 2 or 3 shep tranny can handle in torque. . . Do a little more research . . . There's a whole forum here devoted to the automatic.
