oh and lemme tell you... the car feels like a Tank without the balance shafts and the added solid motor mounts/prothane mounts ROFL...

After reading some posts about them i was under the impression that the difference wouldnt be that bad but man..I can kiss alot of dates goodbye now ROFL.

I've been wanting to do this for awhile. How much did the place charge? Do they charge per size or how many pieces.

bleed the clutch line and see if that helps out with your pedal issue.....

I had to do that to mine a while back....

It all depends on if you want to get it just polished or both chrome and polished.
Chrome/Polishing is more expensive but last longer and easier to clean.
Just Polishing is cheaper and is better for things like turbo's which effect performance.

To give you an idea of pricing,
the radiator brackets were $30 (Both chrome/polished)
the turbo was $60 (just polished)

If you want anymore info just pm me

Yea a buddy of mine is suppose to come help me since its a 2 person job. Hopefully its still good because ive spent enough money on this project :sosad:

I haven't seen anyone mention this. But you have to lose the purple painted brake fluid reservoir cap and clutch fluid reservoir cap. There was a day when I painted mine, they chip and start to look like crap after a while. Just get some new OEM caps for like $7 each.
So much purple but no HKS timing belt or cam gears?

Na, ill just be really carefull around them, a friend of mine used the same paint i used and his has been lasting great for over 9 months now :thumb:...

Patients... in time when i get the funds :)

Well i fixed most little problems and now ive got one last one...
Im not getting any spark in the # 2 & 3 cylinders and i believe i figured out why...

When I removed the Fuel Pump Check Connector, i basically removed the link between the Power Transistor and the Coil Pack aka the "Engine Speed Detection Connector" which powers one of the coils. Which explains why my RPM Tach is off 1k rpms.

Today i going to solder a wire connections between them and see if that fixes it. Other than that i just need to wash and polish it so i can take pics :sneaky:

warning: get high temp powder if you are going to do this. With the higher temperatures that the comp housing will see, regular powder will fade and become dull.

Regular powder coating should be fine. It's the turbine housing that would be the issue and I would suggest ceramic coating that instead of powder coating it.

From what im told the powdercoating will burn off easier, its better to get anodized. But yea im getting the same guy to ceramic coat my exhaust housing pretty soon :thumb:

Oh and FYI, i fixed my spark issue and now im running great :thumb:, I gave this Mistress a shower yesterday and she's looking beautiful  Ill post pics up once their done uploading...

True, in almost all cases I can think of anodizing will be better for a few reasons. Anodizing won't burn off as easy or if at all. Anodizing will not chip or flake off. Most importantly, anodizing will not retain heat. Powder coating and paint retain heat within the object. Anodizing doesn't do this, that's why Brembo anodizes their race calipers, and why Alcon and AP Racing just leave a bare metal finish on their race calipers. ;)
