I am curious to see if my maxoctane tables are looking ok. I have done a few pulls and came back and made some changes using the track datalog feature.
But, the more i look at others logs, i feel like my table looks weird. Help and advice is greatly appreciated!!

p.s. i am on E85 and am slowly trying to work my way to around 12.1 afr at WOT

How are you tuning your AFR's with no wideband or boost gauge logged?

Besides that, you shouldn't be "tuning" your DA tables like that until everything is calibrated...and it looks like your airflow hasn't been touched above 800hz, which is a bit odd.

You also have a bad idle surge issue, a TPS malfunction, and your timing is too high at 6000rpms (24* ATDC). I think you need to cover the basics before worrying about WOT tuning. ;)

Your table only looks weird because most people once they hit about 3500-4500 RPMs the set everything from about 1.8 to 2.0 load on down to their target AFR, instead of all the changes/steps you have in yours. I'm not a fan of how many changes and jumps you have in yours. If you're shooting for 12:1, then I'd set everything from 3500-4000 RPMs and over to 12.0 in your table.

You have a wideband - why aren't you logging it?

Thanks for the replies guys....yes i do have a wideband i just havent had a chance to wire it into my ecu and try to get it logging.
My boost is set at 25.
Thanks for the advice on the table i will try that out.
With mafcomp i grabbed a cruise log and used the mafcomp tool. Then at 5000 and 5500 i made adjustments to try to get my boostest to line up. How do i know what other areas to adjust on the mafcomp tab?

In a nut shell, you compare your logged WB value with your targeted AFR (DA table values) at each load point, and adjust the sliders until they match. Or you can use BoostEst vs. actual boost to do the same thing.

There is a lot more info on it over on the ECMLink wiki and forums.

EDIT: Freakin' youngsters and their fast typing. :)

I was looking at my boost gauge at 5000-5500 and trying to match up boostest with that. Thanks a lot i will try that out for the other points on the table.

There is no way that you can accurately tune by looking at a boost gauge and/or wideband. For one thing, there is just too much going on while trying to drive, and for another...you need to get data at several different load points, which you can't see without looking at the log.

Get a MAP sensor and the wideband wired up and making color in ECMLink. ;)

I agree with you completely, i planned on installing a MAP sensor at some point but have been running low on time and money so i just wanted to get my car dialed in decent for the time being.
I have read and read almost until my head explodes on trying to understand how to log wideband but i still dont understand how to physically wire it into the ecu??

I did read that but i still was a bit confused...so i will ask you.. i cant use EGR temp input because i have AEM wideband, i cant use IAT or Baro because i am using a mitsu maf, so i can use front o2 or coolant temp inputs. Does that mean if i was to use either of them i actually cut the wire and the wire going to the sensor is no longer used? And the wire for the wideband takes place of it?

PERFECT!! i have been trying to find that answer for a long time...You are awesome! LOL thanks though really

After i get my AFR's set and move onto timing, which RPM's and load would i put in my target number at?
