so i am getting a p1500code alternator"fr" terminal circuit. i have a brand new alternator, and a good battery but it has ben relocated to the trunk by the previous owner. however if i start the car and drive to autozone, which is a mile down the street. my battery is dead and i need a jump start. if i jump start the car it runs and drives fine until i turn it off then it is dead again.I no my tps is NOT set correctly and i have idle issues. could this cause the problem?? also could the battery being in the trunk have something to do with it. when i ran the c.e.l. codes p1400 manifold differential pressure sensor circuit, p0443 evap system purge control, p0300 random cylinder misfire, p0120 throttle position sensor and a p0100 mas or map vac problem could any of these cause the problem. so once again my question is what is causing my battery to die in so short a time ??? thanks in advance

the battery, low altenator not charging, dead battery, there isnt much too it location is unimportant, its a battery. ITs not charging or holding a charge, take it to get it tested. codes? and battery voltage?

you have a bad connection somewhere. also... have you had the alternator tested? i know you said it was new, but that makes no difference. have it tested also if you haven't already.

i agree have alt tested even if new could be faulty. also if the battery and alt checked out then its a short in system. this happen to me with my old gst and it turned out to be a wire from my alarm system was grounded so car would die every 2 days of no use.
