Hi, I'm in the process of replacing the front case/oil pump and eliminating the balance shafts on my 92 AWD Laser. I have come across a wire whose location I can't figure out. Can someone take a look at a comparable car and answer this for me. Mounted to the alternator is a bracket containing several wires. Of these wires there is one solitary green wire that goes to a small clip. Where does this wire/clip go to? I've looked through the service manuals and can't find the answer. A little help is appreciated!

It's not the wire that goes to the power steering pump. Check out the picture!
