I cant figure out how to get the thing out! I searched, and everything i found was about how to get the new one in. I read one saying they took it out through the top. My power steering pump is right above it, and there is something else below it. I had a terrible time trying to get the bottom nut, my hand could barely fit down there and only in one position. Does anyone have any tips?

If you want it to be easier to get out than you should take out your fan and the power steering pump so you have more room to play with. Than its 2 bolts and some wiring.

Off the top of my head, 4 10mm bolts hold on your driver side rad fan. Don't forget to unplug the pigtail. This should give you enough clearance. You have a long bolt in the bottom of the alternator that allows it to swivle. I believe oe size is 12 mm nut on the left side if your facing the front of the car. The tensioner is either 12 or 14 mm also. You'll have to loosen the one on the side that locks it. And then loosen the bolt that pulls the belt tight. A couple turns on the tensioning bolt and you can simply flip it up out of the brack. Remove the long bolt that allows it to swivel from the driver side wheel well. And finagle out the alternator from the top. Don't forget to disconnect the negative terminal on your battery and of course disconnect the pigtail and + cable to the alternator. One thing to check if your DSM is not charging is the 80 amp fusible link in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side. If you have no charge condition check that link before replacing your alternator.
