Alternator bottom screw size

I'm guessing that what I'm going through is unprecedented. I lost the long screw that goes through the alternator at the bottom to hold it in place.

I got the measurement of the Bolt/Nut - M8x1.25, But I need the size of the screw that goes in there.

So you are looking for the length of the bolt?

Really you could use any bolt/nut combo that will go thru the hole and hole the alternator in place

I guess you can say the length; I went to home depot I measured them next to a pen. But one of them doesn't have enough thread to reach the alternator and the other is too thick but would be a perfect match

Caps says it's MD162904 8mmx118mm
JNZ Tuning wants $3.39 for it and if you go to your local dealer you'll pay a whole $4.37

I'd stop looking around and call a Mitsubishi dealer to order it since it will have the special flange that fits the alternator so it doesn't spin while tightening it. If they ask what car it's for tell them your year Eclipse so they will be happy

Who have you talked to out at Mike Miller? I talked to Tyler both times and he was quite helpful..

I got some middle aged woman both times. I think she might be the parts manager or something. I had to order the blowoff valve recirc tube, and the turbo coolant return hose. She gave me the wrong hose. Mind you that the bov and the turbo are oem. Next time I think I'll follow your advice and talk to Tyler. Thanks man!!! Keep your eye out for a black talon with a primer gray front bumper. It'll be me!!!
