A link to what? It's a Tial 40mm wastegate mounted on a recirculating Victory Performance tubular O2 housing. Just about any DSM vendor can get both.

That would be the 02 housing correct?taht would be an external was gate??? how does it work? like is there no flapper or waste gate actuator thena nd its kinda like a bov the release the exhasut????

Do you know how an external wastegate works?

Here is the link to the Victory Performance website. This is the O2 housing page. The correct configuration for that O2 housing would be:

Wastegate Routing: External Wastegate
External Wastegate Flanges: Tial 40mm
External WG Internally Routed: Internal Routing

There is no pic to one on the actual website but that is what it is. They also sell Tial wastegates. http://www.victoryperformance.com/product/Detail.cfm?ProductID=505

No i dont know how it works if i did dont you think that maybe i wouldnt have asked??? if you know why cant you just explain it with out saying dont you know, not just for me but other that might read and dont wanna sound stupid.

Hey sorry man I tend to just read key words in posts, I didn't mean to sound like a dick. I am assuming you know how a internal wastegate works based on you knowing what the actuator and flapper were. An external wastegate works exactly like an internal one, except the the actuator and flapper are in one unit. The internal wastegate is either bypassed, or never existed on some turbos.

For those who don't know how a wastegate works, I give a brief explaination, although you can find a similar explaination all over this site I'm sure. The wastegate lets a certain amount of exhaust into the ehxaust piping (or under the car into the air, called an O2 dump) before it spins the turbo, allowing you to control how much the turbo spools up, and therefor controlling how much PSI the turbo blows.

that is the most ineffeciant way to run an external wastegate. Running it like that is almost no different then just running a internal wastegate because it uses the exact same thing. All u do with that set up is u take the wastegate off and weld the arm open so that when its time for the external wastegate to open up the exhaust just leaves through the internal wastegate hole. Its the same concept ur just using an external wastegate. Waste of money it just looks cool.

Some would argue that an external wastegate is much more reliable than an internal one. this a good way to run a fp green (i think this uses an internal wastegate-type turbine housing) without having to dump the O2's and being obnoxiously loud..

So basically that thing is useless just a fancy looking internal gate of sorts???and it would kinda work like a BOV

Similar to a BOV in terms of relieving pressure of some type of gas.

An external gate is used on larger turbos over an internal wastegate because it relieves exhaust gasses faster, thus having more control over boost creep. Boost creep is when the turbine flows more gasses than the wastegate would. So with an external wastegate being able to flow more, less gasses will go through the turbine, therefor decreasing boost creep.

Better definition of boost creep:
