my friend has a gst with an apexi computer in it and he thinks its a real pain in the ass to set up. i am thinking of getting a t28 turbo along with 550cc injectors and a walbro pump. he says that all i should need to get the right fuel to the thing is one of these here. is that all i would need if im only running 18-20 psi on 93 pump gas?

yeah, but technically i could get away with just a boost dependant FPR right? im trying to avoid doing a computer. and a pocket logger is a given... i gotta do that anyway.

Yep, the stock ecu runs 450cc... so you need something to control that extra 100cc you would be adding. Get an AFC.. but dont forget a logger and maybe an EGT gauge while your at it!

Why do it halfassed. I would just get 550's and an AFC. Everything is hard the first time you play with it, not to mention if HE has a hard time what does that have to do with you. You my pick it up super fast and end up tunning his car. Also if your motor goes is he going to get you a new one becasue he said to use just those products? NO. Do it right the first time and never worry about it from then on.

ok, maybe i will get an AFC, can anyone recommend an easily tunable one? im also looking for a cable that will hook up to my palm tungsten t2 so i can use it as a data logger. oh, and does the 2g dsm have a built in knock sensor or do i have to get my own?

Most say the s-afc is easier to use than the s-afc 2.

the logger reads the knock sensor right? oh and they dont support the tungsten yet, so i gotta buy another palmpilot...

The pocketlogger will not display knock in 2G's, you either need DSMLINK or the new modified ECU http://www.dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=111837&perpage=25&pagenumber=1

Not sure how it works yet, because the people I know that purchased them haven't put them to use yet, but it sounds promising.
